In Social Studies this week the second grade class has been busy learning about Egypt. Next week the students will present their findings to different classes and lead an art project with each class. Parents are welcome to come in to watch and be an active part of the class' Egypt presentations and projects. Please find the schedule below for dates and times. Thank you to parents for letting your child bring in different things you had on Egypt. They have really added to the Egyptian feel in the class.
In Math this week we studied Topic 13, Measurement: Length and Area. Next week we will continue with this topic.
In Reading class this week we read the story, Ants.
The Second Grade class would like to welcome Sean and Jim into the class this week. They have quickly settled in and are making friends. Thank you to all the students for helping them learn the routines of the class.
